The Founding Father
I’m Ben Black—father of three, multiple business owner, and the creator of The Foundry. Like many men, I wanted more: more time with my family, more control over my work, and a legacy built on my own terms.
I work on my own time, from my own home in rural New Zealand, with total freedom—because I built something that lasts.
I started as an industrial electrician, eventually running my own contracting business—but I knew it wasn’t the future I wanted. So I took a leap, built online income streams, and moved my family to our homestead.
But I didn’t start with success. I wasted time doing it the hard way, struggling alone. It wasn’t until I built a network, refined my skills, and followed a path I carved for myself that things changed.
